Kickoff location:
Elm St. Middle School (see map)
On May 19th, 2012, we want YOU to join youth from
the Nashua area, to partake in the "Big Day of Serving".
We will be transforming & revitalizing an entire neighborhood
in one day. Nashua's "French Hill" neighborhood has been chosen as
a location site for our Big Day of Serving and amazing things are
going to happen. Imagine 500+ youth gathered at Elm St. Middle School in the morning then
heading out to serve and help rejuvenate an entire
neighborhood!
We'll tackle an area the size of several city blocks and bring
help and hope to people by working on projects like painting, home
repairs, landscaping, cleaning and beautifying city parks, cleaning
vacant lots, and cleaning schools and nursing homes,
including cleaning and repairs at Tolles St Mission and
the Upper Room, a domestic abuse prevention-intervention &
treatment compassion mission.
This event is about youth uniting to serve, to bring hope and
help to people in need. You can and will make a huge difference.

After more than 30 years organizing youth mission trips, we know
there are still so many needs out there. We also know God works in
huge ways when kids come together to serve people in need. And so,
the idea of a "single day of service" was born: organized locally
in towns across America and supported by local youth
ministries...to transform neighborhoods, one at a time.
- They'll clean city blocks, alleyways and parks
- Help with landscaping & plant community gardens
- Remove graffiti
- Paint and tackle minor home repairs
